Snappi

Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your expenses

Connect Snappi to an AI assistant and ask about your spending in plain words. The assistant reads your expenses and receipts from Snappi when you ask — it can’t change, add or delete anything. Connecting AI apps is part of the Sort plan.

Try asking

  • “How much did I spend on meals last month?”
  • “Show my Grab receipts from this year.”
  • “What were my biggest categories in the last 90 days, compared with before?”
  • “Which receipts are still waiting for me to review?”
  • “Show me the line items on my most recent Tesco receipt.”

  3. In a chat, make sure Snappi is switched on in the tools menu, then ask away.

Connect ChatGPT

  3. Mention Snappi in your message, or pick it from the tools menu.

What the assistant can see

  • Search expenses — your expenses for a period, filtered by category, merchant or review status, with totals.
  • Expense details — one expense’s line items, tax, payment method and a link to the receipt image that expires after about 15 minutes.
  • Spending summary — totals, change from the previous period, spending by category, the monthly trend and top merchants.
  • Categories — your built-in and custom categories.

It can’t see your password, payment details, other people’s data, or anything outside Snappi. Totals are in your main currency and leave out receipts you haven’t confirmed yet, the same as your dashboard. Assistants can make mistakes, so check important figures in Snappi.

Privacy and disconnecting

What the assistant reads becomes part of your conversation with it, and is handled under that provider’s privacy policy. Snappi keeps a record of the connection (which app, when it was connected and last used). To disconnect, open Settings → Connect AI apps in Snappi and choose Disconnect — access ends at once. You can also remove Snappi in the assistant’s own connector settings. Changing your password or deleting your account disconnects every app. See the Privacy Policy for details.
